Beautiful vacation home on 2 floors; with ocean view and dream panorama; completely restored and lovely furnished for small families, singles or individualists who are interested in the “real Italian”; approx. 3,5 km to the ocean and the 7 km long sandy beach; half pension/ bed and breakfast possible.
The vacation home “Il Pendio” (translated literally “The steep hill”), which is located at the historical town center of Casal Velino Paesse, is the ideal place for passionate lover of the Mediterranean atmosphere, who are looking for a rare and beautiful possibility to dive into the real Italian life.
The Pendio is connected to a labyrinth of romantically angled alleys and the historical town center and lies on the hill of the beautiful old part of town. The house possesses a small courtyard or a patio, which can be your own piazza and where you can meet a variety of elderly residents of the old town that are doing their work or just stop for a nice chat.
Various scents will follow you throughout the day – at the early morning you will smell the scent of “espresso fatto in casa”, at the late morning you can smell the scent of “sughi al pomodoro” between the houses, which later on will be eaten to the variety of noodle dishes and a glass of wine. After the loud schepper of dishes that comes out of the windows during lunchtime, an indescribable quietness of the Italian “siesta” will arrive.
In this quiet, traditional and natural grown rhythms, you will reach a light almost dreamily way, down to the depth of the slowly almost lazy being of the carefree style of life, that people indulged since centuries.
The Pendio is well maintained and tastefully and furnished in a country typically style. Through the door you will arrive in the living room, which consists out of a beautiful kitchen (completely fitted kitchen) with a table and seating possibilities. The entire furniture are wooden furniture. If you go through the arch out of natural rocks you will be underneath a gallery and that is the place for a cozy double sleeping sofa. A wooden staircase leads up the gallery, where you can find the sleeping area with a nice double bed and a window. From the sleeping area you will be able to overlook the entire lower living area.
On the outside of the house, there are garden furniture for your usage.
Since the owner of the Pendio is also the owner of the Azienda iMoresani, you will be able to enjoy the service of the Azienda (1,5 km distance), for example: breakfast, half pension, horse back-riding or hikes. The way to the Azienda is gorgeous and can easily be "hiked" accompanied by a beautiful panorama.
